The men behind the mustaches

Tin Can Bros is made up of Los Angeles based entertainers Corey Lubowich, Joey Richter, and Brian Rosenthal. The trio met at the University of Michigan, and have been writing, directing, and producing projects together ever since. Their work showcases what happens when smart thinking collides with irreverent comedy, and includes over 200 YouTube videos, web-series, festival short films, and seven live stage shows.

Recent projects have included the full length stage musical Spies Are Forever, the Off-Broadway play The Solve It Squad, the musical short film Flop Stoppers (Newport Beach Film Festival, Buffer Festival), the livestreamed show Choose Our Destiny (Legendary Digital), the animated musical series Garbage Musicals (Omnia Media), the narrative podcast & webseries Wayward Guide for the Untrained Eye, and the Brooklyn Nine-Nine Experience (NBC at Comic-Con). Their fanbase is incredibly passionate, and have helped Tin Can Bros raise over $500,000 for their projects on Kickstarter. The three are also members of the viral sensation Team StarKid (over 350 million views on YouTube) and have worked closely on their parody musicals (including A Very Potter Musical and Holy Musical Batman!) and national concert tours.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ Why isn't music from your projects immediately available on Spotify/Streaming

Unfortunately, Spotify and other subscription streaming music services do not pay very well unless you’re generating millions of streams (like Taylor Swift). So, the best way to support us and all the amazing artists we work with is to purchase a copy from iTunes or the TCB store! This allows us to keep making shows in the future! And our albums eventually will make it to streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, but usually not for a year or so.

+ Can I interview you guys for a school project?

We're flattered you want to talk to us! But unfortunately our schedule is pretty full with everything we have in the pipeline. Sorry!

+ How can I reach out with a press inquiry?

Please use the form above!

+ Can I license/perform Spies Are Forever or The Solve It Squad with my school/company/friends?

Yes! We love the enthusiasm! Check out our licensing page! if you are intersted in performing "The Solve It Squad" or "Spies Are Forever"!

+ Do you have sheet music available for Spies Are Forever?

At this time, sheet music does not exist for Spies Are Forever. We'll definitely publicize it if we ever release sheet music though!

+ I didn’t receive/have an issue with my Kickstarter rewards?

Please reach out through Kickstarter for all Kickstarter related questions and inquiries! (We’re not able to look up your pledge/assist on any other platform!)

+ I live in [a country that is not the U.S.]. Can I still order TCB merchandise?

Yes yes yes! Our friends at Ann Arbor Tees ship anywhere in the world! (Though pricing for shipping can often suck if you're very far away... sorry 🙁)

+ Are you hiring/can I do an internship with you guys?

Thanks for offering! You're the best. If we ever need help on a specific project we're working on, we'll post about it on our Instagram or Twitter. Other than that, we don't currently have any openings for general or ongoing help.

+ I have a great idea that I wrote! You should do it!

That's awesome! We don't, however, take outside pitches. But it sounds like something you should do yourself!

+ Can you wish me/my friend/my dog a happy birthday?!

Yes! Happy Birthday! 🎂xoxo, TCB
